After an easy breezy
disembarkation process, we arrived at our hotel at 8am! We were lucky enough to
get a room right away, so we took it and settled in. Then we took the five
minute walk to the station for our day out. We had made a plan to visit Harvard
and Fenway Park in the morning then go to the Boston Tea Party in the afternoon
- which was what we had organised believing we would take a long time to
disembark. So being able to visit Harvard and Fenway was a bonus.
The Boston Tea Party
ship and museum was very interesting and really gave us a potted history
lesson.
The weather had been
perfect, warm and fine. Our day was beautifully rounded off with dinner at a
well known pizza place (parlour would perhaps be a better term). Pizzas were
great, very authentic Italian.
