Slept well so off on another day of sightseeing. First up visited Rosenborg Castle where the Crown Jewels are kept. But this castle is so much more. It's all about the royal family's history - absolutely beautiful. The crown jewels were particularly special.
Then we visited the Round Tower. We had passed by this tower on a previous visit, so I decided we should take the walk to the top. An unusual wide cobbled circular walkway, very steep and a long way to the top but so worth it.
After coffee, we walked to Amelienborg Palace Museum to see the companion castle. This is where the royal family lives and it looked like Prince Frederik and Princess Mary were home! After visiting the museum we crossed the central area towards the noise in the park to see what was happening. It was the Red Bull Cliff Dive being conducted from the roof of the Opera House! We have this knack of stumbling across 'happenings' on our visits to places. We continued to walk along to the Little Mermaid, having only seen her back on a previous visit, from the water! Then back to the hotel - 15000 steps! Felt like it. After resting up we headed out in the rain to meet up with some others on our cruise. Board tomorrow!
